Concert to raise money for Queensway Carleton Hospital

I am publishing this information at the request of the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation:

On December 7th, there is a fundraising concert in support of the Hopes Rising campaign. Séan McCann’s GREAT BIG CHRISTMAS PARTY is taking place on December 7 at the Algonquin Commons Theatre at 7:00 pm. Séan is a founding member of the band Great Big Sea and he has become a strong advocate for mental health in recent years. This is a family-friendly event which will feature new and traditional music, stories and a sing-a-long. Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for those who are 18 years of age and under.

2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The 2019 AGM will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 7pm-9pm at the Ottawa Adventist School (beside Seventh Day Adventist Church at 2200 Benjamin Ave.).

Summer Fun Day 2019

The Summer Fun Day is coming on August 10th.
This year we are planning:

Bike parade
- Gather at Glabar Park at 11:30am, leave at 11:40am. Go down Hare, Benjamin and Parkhurst in order to get to Kingsmere Park.
Ice Cream Truck (only from 12pm-2pm)
Bouncy castle
Face painting
Tent
BBQ
Fire Truck
Games

GPCA directors and volunteers will be wearing green shirts with the GPCA logo.

a Company of Fools is set to return to Glabar Park on Tuesday July 9th. For more details, please see their website.

They have asked if anyone surrounding the park (i.e. someone that lives on Hare or Rozel) could open their home for actors to use between 4pm and 7pm on July 9th. If you can accommodate, please contact glabarparkca@gmail.com and we will put you in touch with them.
