On Saturday, February 8th, 2014 we are pleased to organize the annual Glabar Park Winter Fun Day for all Glabar Park residents.
Location: Kingsmere Park
Time: Noon to 3 pm
Come out, dress warm and enjoy a fun-filled event including a BBQ, bonfire with marshmallow roasting, skating, games and more. This is an A-plus entry on your annual social calendar. Don’t miss it!!!

Skating lessons at the Kingsmere Rink will be going ahead this winter. These 30 minute classes will be held 5:30 – 7:30pm on Thursdays starting in January (date to be determined shortly). We will be taking 8 children per class on a first come basis. If interested, please email Jackie at jackie_500@hotmail.com with the following information: – child’s name – child’s age – your contact information.
Once the classes fill up I will contact you for payment. Payment will be $20 per child. Please note there will be no refunds once lessons commence. These outdoor lessons are dependent on weather and ice conditions, meaning there could be cancellations.
Although we will try our best to make up a session we cannot guarantee this is possible. So I urge you to consider this when signing up your child. Looking forward to a frosty (but not too cold) winter!

We are planning to have a community meeting to discuss the re-zone, and actually quite soon. We have booked the Presbyterian Church for Wednesday October 2 at 6:30pm. We will be flyering the community on Wednesday to let everyone know.
