Mark your calendars for the Glabarhood Easter Egg hunt!
Here’s how to participate:
– Pre-fill 10 plastic eggs PER CHILD PARTICIPANT with PEANUT-FREE candies/chocolates
– A parent shows up at 9:30 on March 31st to hide their eggs at the park.
– Everyone shows up by 10:30 for the egg hunt
– The hunt will start at 10:30 sharp
– The hunt begins!
– Kids fill their baskets brought from home to find 10 eggs each.
PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL CANDY/CHOCOLATE IS PEANUT FREE!
Find the Fall 2017 Glabar Park Community Alliance Gazette posted on the website. It contains information on our AGM, to be held Tuesday September 19, as well as Summer Fun Day info and the upcoming rink season.
Please note that we do not currently have volunteers to distribute the Gazette like we did in previous years. If you can volunteer to distribute the Gazette on your street (or more), please contact glabarparkca@gmail.com and we’ll coordinate getting printed versions of the Gazette in your hands. Thank you!
This year’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the Ottawa Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2200 Benjamin Avenue, between 7 pm and 9 pm. All residents over 18 years of age are automatically members of the GPCA and are both invited and encouraged to attend.
The business of this Annual General Meeting will include:
Summer Fun Day is coming on July 29th. We are doing it earlier this year to hopefully avoid weather issues and place this event in the middle of the summer.
