The 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Glabar Park Community Alliance takes place tonight (Tuesday, October 28) at 7:30pm at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church (971 Woodroffe Avenue). The future of the community rink at Kingsmere Park and an update to the Alliance’s community by-laws will top the agenda.
Following presentations by the Board of Directors, including reports on recent activities and the Alliance’s financial statements, Bay Ward City Councillor Theresa Kavanagh will give an update on municipal business and take questions.
There will also be an election of members to the Board of Directors for 2025-2026. As a volunteer-driven association, new board members are greatly needed to keep the work of the Alliance going. To learn more about the role of an Alliance director, please send an email to glabarparkca@gmail.com, or attend the AGM.
